Wina Ravelo V\u00e1zquez, del equipo de oftalmolog\u00eda del centro de salud, subray\u00f3 que el foco actual se centra en tratar patolog\u00edas como vicio de refracci\u00f3n y cataratas. \u00abEste a\u00f1o nos hemos propuesto realizar hasta 600 operaciones. Hasta la fecha hemos atendido a 160 pacientes\u00bb, indic\u00f3 Ravelo. Adem\u00e1s, los tecn\u00f3logos m\u00e9dicos han visto a 100 pacientes de los 350 proyectados para el a\u00f1o, de acuerdo con las cifras que maneja el centro asistencial.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Los grupos prioritarios de atenci\u00f3n son los adultos mayores de 65 a\u00f1os, quienes, seg\u00fan la especialista en oftalmolog\u00eda, requieren atenci\u00f3n especializada y beneficiarse de las prestaciones que cubre el GES. Ravelo tambi\u00e9n recalc\u00f3 la importancia del seguimiento post quir\u00fargico. \u201cNo s\u00f3lo nos enfocamos en la cirug\u00eda, sino que aseguramos un completo seguimiento para garantizar la mejor recuperaci\u00f3n posible, por ejemplo, luego de una cirug\u00eda de cataratas, hacemos controles postoperatorios a las 24 horas, luego a los 15 d\u00edas y posteriormente al mes despu\u00e9s de la operaci\u00f3n\u201d, explic\u00f3 la oftalm\u00f3loga.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Asimismo, desde el Servicio de Oftalmolog\u00eda del Hospital Regional de Antofagasta hicieron un llamado a los usuarios que se encuentran en la lista de espera a actualizar su informaci\u00f3n de contacto para facilitar la coordinaci\u00f3n de sus citas. \u201cEs esencial que los pacientes colaboren actualizando sus datos para aprovechar estas oportunidades adicionales de atenci\u00f3n\u201d, subray\u00f3 el Dr. Zapata.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Finalmente, el directivo del centro de salud asegur\u00f3 que este operativo no solo refleja el compromiso del personal del hospital por mejorar la calidad de vida de sus pacientes, sino que tambi\u00e9n es un ejemplo del esfuerzo conjunto para optimizar los recursos disponibles y responder eficazmente a las necesidades
